We’re celebrating the Cayman Islands, by featuring the best we have
to offer on our 2020 calendar – all things Cayman: culture, nature,
landscape and people – through your eyes!
The best 12 pictures will be selected and featured
in our 2020 calendar.
The competition will run from September-3 to October-3, 2019.
No images will be accepted after the closing date.
Participants are invited to enter as many photos as they like – however, a maximum of 3 pictures per participant will be chosen to feature in our 2020 calendar, should they win.
By entering the competition, you agree to share the image rights with Cayman First Insurance. After the publication of the winners, Cayman First Insurance reserves the right to publish submitted images on social media and in advertisements along with the names of the participants.
Image files (from both digital cameras and smartphones) must be landscape orientation and reflect the theme and the essence of The Cayman Islands.
Only digital contributions will be accepted. Winners will be requested to provide image as high resolution JPEG at 300 dpi and should be suitable to print.
To enter, participants should post their pictures on Instagram, using the hashtag #365DaysOfCayman or if your account settings are private, send via direct message. Photo entrants will be also accepted at email@example.com
We want you to help us celebrate the best of Your Cayman. Pictures can feature Cayman’s people, landscape and landmarks, fauna, flora, daily life and culture.
The winning 12 pictures will be featured in our calendar and each winner will receive $200.
Photographs with the most engagement on Instagram will be shortlisted for consideration by the judges. The judges decisions are final.
Any images submitted must be the product of your own work.
You must ensure anyone who is identifiable in your photograph is aware of the purpose of the submission and that it might be published by Cayman First, and have given you their written consent to use their image. Parent/Guardian must give permission if the person in question is under 16.
